Ferdinando E. Aspesi, vice president and senior adviser, Novartis Group Quality, has been elected to serve 3-year term on the ASTM International board of directors. Aspesi has more than 35 years of experience in drug substance and drug product quality assurance and quality control as well as in pharmaceutical research and development. An ASTM member since 2003, Aspesi is currently vice chairman of Committee E55 on Manufacture of Pharmaceutical Products.
