Open, non-proprietary FOUNDATION™ fieldbus technical specifications have been updated to include features for enhancing usability of FOUNDATION technology. Specifically, features include additional advanced support for fieldbus device replacement and backwards compatibility, Device Description (DD) templates, field diagnostics, and alarm/alert integration.
