This store on Paulison Avenue in Clifton was among the first to close as a result of the bankruptcy of A&P, which owns Pathmark as well as other grocery chains. By 2 p.m. Friday, two hours before the Pathmark store on Paulison Avenue in Clifton closed its doors for the last time, all that remained on the shelves was a sorry assortment of stray items - birthday candles shaped like numbers, a few bottles of cocktail mixers, a display of spices, all marked down 90 percent.
