PreDx® fasting blood test predicts 5 yr likelihood of developing Type 2 diabetes in adults with prediabetes. Test measures 7 indicative biomarkers and applies proprietary algorithm that combines biomarker results with patient age and gender to generate personalized numerical score on scale of 1–10. Result corresponds to individual's 5 yr risk of developing Type 2 diabetes, where higher score indicates higher 5 yr risk of progression.
