With 2.5 in. flash drive kits, users can replace 2.5 or 3.5 in. HDDs in notebook PC or other systems with 3 types of flash cards. Models include 2.5 in. M2 (NGFF) SSD Drive, which allows use of M2 (NGFF) SSD cards — 30, 42, 60, or 80 mm long — as direct replacement for 2.5 in. SATA HDD; 2.5 in. mSATA Flash drive that uses mSATA SSD to replace SATA HDD; and 2.5 in. IDE mSATA Flash drive that replaces 2.5 in. IDE hard drive with shock-resistant mSATA SSD. All drives are OS-independent.
