Low-loss, flat coil SMT planar transformers, ranging in size from 21.6 x 23.4 x 8.6 mm to 26.7 x 29.5 x 11.9 mm, are suited for applications with tight height constraints. Design uses copper fill factor that is 2X that of PCB so that DCR of primary winding is reduced by 50% and power rating is increased by 20% to deliver up to 500 W of power capability. Products are RoHS-compliant and meet standard EIA481 requirements.
