Flexible, copper braid assemblies are suited for heat dissipation in high-current applications when water cooling is not possible. Able to be made to specifications, these flexible connectors are also manufactured to compensate for vibration and expansion/contraction of bus bars as well as to deliver minimum resistance values. Current capacity to 3,200 A is available, and standard braids are available in 9 widths from 1–6 in. Copper can be bare or plated with silver, nickel, or tin.
