We are currently looking for a Flight Software Validation Engineer to support our customer in the Netherlands. Flight Software Validation Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities As an integrated member of ESAs Flight Software Systems Section, you will support a number of Earth Observation and science projects and will have the following responsibilities General Support to Software Validation Facilities and Avionics Test Bench infrastructure activities Characterisation of Emulators Interface adaptations between SVF and Test Bench models Adaptation and upgrade ATB EagleEye mission to Time and Space Partitions TSP and multicore configurations Integration of TSP based system execution environment Supporting integration of Multicore based system execution environment Support dedicated projects SVF infrastructure development including processor simulator. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience A university degree or equivalent qualification in Electronic Engineering, Space Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related discipline Several years experience in software engineering and object oriented programming in CC andor others Embedded Real Time Systems and Real Time Kernels, Unix based systems knowledge Knowledge of Microprocessors such as SPARC LEON, ARM, multicores Communication protocols Mil1553, SpaceWire, CAN. Software Engineering Standards such as the ECSSEST40C Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage. This job is located in Noordwijk.
