Offered as custom option on new machinery or retrofit for Witte units already in field, airslide inlet tray is installed within infeed section where material enters drying system. Directing heated airstream through openings in stainless steel plate that face downstream and parallel to infeed deck prevents sticky materials from clumping at entry of vibrating fluid bed dryers and coolers. Incoming products begin drying immediately and advance gently and consistently to primary drying zone.
