Former Con-way, Coyote Executive Tommy Barnes Joins Project 44

Trucking industry veteran Tommy Barnes has been named president of Project 44, a Chicago-based transportation technology startup that enables shippers and carriers to exchange data on freight rates and service through a secure Internet connection. Barnes served as president of multimodal brokerage for Con-way Inc. and most recently headed the less-than-truckload business unit of Coyote Logistics.
