Fort Smith wants Whirlpool pollution monitored

The Fort Smith Board of Directors approved a resolution Tuesday evening urging Whirlpool and the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality to quickly clean up a plume of trichloroethylene in and around Whirlpool's former manufacturing facility.
