More than two dozen school districts in southwestern Pennsylvania will share in more than a half million dollars in grants to promote programs that encourage STEAM - Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Manufacturing. The grants were announced Friday by the Allegheny Intermediate Unit Center for Creativity, and the funding came from the Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation, the Grable Foundation and, for the first time this year, Chevron Corp. .
