BusinessGreen: European Union proposals to set new renewable energy targets for 2030 received a boost yesterday, after the French energy and environment minister confirmed her government backed the plan.
Ministers yesterday met in Dublin to discuss a range of environmental issues, including the Green Paper proposed by the Commission to extend 2020 goals covering carbon emissions, renewable energy deployment, and energy efficiency through to 2030.
