Frederick Avenue bridge over Gwynns Falls to be closed for a year

A $14 million project to completely replace the aging bridge that carries Frederick Avenue over the Gwynns Falls and a CSX Corp. railway in Southwest Baltimore will close the bridge to through traffic for an entire year starting next week, Baltimore transportation officials said Monday.
