Shares of FuelCell Energy sank more than 12 percent during trading Thursday after the company reported wider than expected losses for the first quarter. While most analysts were predicting that locally based FuelCell Energy would report a loss of around 35 cents per share, the company reported a net loss for the first quarter of 48 cents per share on revenues of about $25.1 million, as compared to $33.4 million for the same period last year.
