Tabcorp has set the benchmark for inventive capital management and now fund managers and analysts are hopeful other top-100 companies may find their own unique ways to accelerate franking credit returns to shareholders. As heavyweights Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Telstra and Rio Tinto prepare to hand down results this week, all eyes are on dividends, special dividends, buybacks and franking credits.
