Furniture factory closures in Thomasville hit other local businesses

The announcement last week by Heritage Home Group - the company that owns what was once Furniture Brands International - that it is closing its last two factories in Thomasville and eliminating 84 jobs is yet another hurdle for other local businesses to try to cross, the Lexington Dispatch reports .
