GM to receive $5M grant from Fort Wayne for plant expansion

A resolution authorizing a $5 million grant from the city of Fort Wayne to General Motors has been introduced at a city council meeting. The money would come from the state and go to help Detroit-based GM pay for a $1.2 billion upgrade to its Allen County truck assembly plant.
