GMP declares victory on promise to make Rutland City the solar capital of New England

Rutland Mayor Christopher Louras accepts a declaration of his city as the Solar Capital of New England from Mary Powell, president and CEO of Green Mountain Power. Rutland, with a population of about 16,000, now has 7.87 megawatts of solar electric power from 38 projects in the city.
