Based on FT230XQ USB-to-UART bridge IC, FT-X-GPS allows any USB-attached computing platform to derive precision positioning data as to enable location-based services and applications. Module is powered by 5 V supply from USB A port and supports USB2.0 Full Speed operation. Built-in location sensing mechanism outputs data in NMEA0183 v.3.01 format, and thumb drive format enclosure measures 60.3 x 20.3 x 12.3 mm. Module operates from -40 to +85°C, and sensitivity is as low as -163 dBm.
