GSK's breast cancer drug Tykerb fails in gastric cancer study

GlaxoSmithKline said on Monday that its breast cancer drug lapatinib in combination with chemotherapy did not improve survival rates for patients with gastric cancer compared to the use of chemotherapy alone.
