Position Reference 997 We are currently looking for a Galileo Evolutions Engineer to work in the city of Prague, Czech Republic. Galileo is Europes Global Navigation Satellite System GNSS, providing improved positioning and timing information with significant positive implications for many European services and users. The objective of this role is to support the Galileo evolutions, especially on operations and maintenance. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Contribute to the follow up of ESA activities related with Galileo evolution GTS and G2G. Preparation of GSAs contributions to ESA and EC documents. Review of documents by the EC, ESA, or Industry with generation and follow up of RIDs. Contribute to the preparation of GSA documents related with G2G, for example, but not limited to G2G Operations and operability requirements Document Justification File G2G operations and operability requirements document G2G Service conops G2G Cost Benefit Analysis Presentations and Technical Notes. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory Masters Degree in the relevant discipline At least 5 years of experience in complex system infrastructure and operations Fluency in English Organised, dynamic and proactive Security clearance EU Secret will be necessary but is not mandatory to start the activities The following skills would be highly desirable Understanding of GNSS principles. Understanding of the EGNSS governance, main stakeholders, and respective high level roles and responsibilities. How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
