We are currently looking for aGalileo GDDN Technical Manager to support our customer in Germany. Galileo GDDN Technical Manager Key Tasks and Responsibilities As GDDN Technical Manager you will be in charge of following all technical issues within the contract for the provision of the Galileo Data Dissemination Network GDDN services. You will be responsible for liaising with the Customer and the Subcontractor technical experts and for technical management of the activities of the communication service provider infrastructure.You will have the following responsibilities Ensuring a timely delivery of technical capabilities to provide the GDDN service according to the schedule and performance requirements Following planning of operations verification, operations preparation and validation, commissioning and deployment activities of GDDN contractor Interacting internally with the teams of SPO for coordination and harmonization of operational issues Supporting the project manager for all engineering and schedule related issues Interfaceing with the Security Accreditation Manager to develop and maintain an understanding of any GDDNrelated security issues. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience Strong background in network and connectivity engineering or operations At least 10 years experience in Complex TLC networks requirements analysis, Satellite and terrestrial networks design, validation and operation, Satellite and terrestrial network maintenance policies and procedures, Network management systems and procedures, AIV at subsystem and system level, Operation validation and system handover from engineering to operation Experience in Galileo System would be an asset Fluency in English is mandatory, the knowledge of another European language will be an advantage.
