We are currently looking for a Galileo Ground Segment Security Engineer to support our customer in the Netherlands. Galileo Ground Segment Security Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities The postholder will be deployed in the Galileo System Office and report to the Head of the GALILEO Segments, Sites and Operations Security Unit in the GNSS Security Office. The main duties will include Management of the Galileo Security Monitoring Centre GSMC and Point Of Contact Platform POCP development AIV activities including the interactions with relevant member state and GSMC stakeholders Hosting Entity Operations Management of the Security Operational Intelligence Facility SOIF development AIV activities including the interactions with relevant member state representatives and stakeholders Hosting Entity Operations Provision of security design expertise to the Galileo System procurement office as regards the design and development of the Ground Segment Security design during its evolution, including the definition of security technical measures in support of security risk treatments Working closely with the Head of the Galileo Segments, Sites and Operations Security Unit, the Galileo System Security Operations Engineer, and the Galileo Key Management Facility Technical Officer as well as with the wider GNSS Security Team and Galileo System procurement office to ensure the provision of support to the Ground SegmentElement Security Design activities including relevant engineering and nonconformance review boards SegmentElement Security AIV activities in support to Galileo System and Segment procurement offices Segment and Site Accreditation activities including the security configuration control activities required for accreditation maintenance Segment, Sites, GDDN and Operations security activities planning including GSAled system penetration testing, with specific focus on the implementation of System Level Risk Treatment Plans. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience Masters degree or equivalent education in Engineering Significant experience in system security design Experience in the definitiondesign of security technical measures in support of system security risk treatments, andor the definitiondesign of cyber security solutions at system level will be considered an asset Candidates should be able to work autonomously, effectively and cooperatively in a diverse and international team environment, should be willing to travel Candidates should have good analytical, organisational and reporting skills, a proactive attitude to solving problems and an interest in innovative technologies Candidates must hold or be eligible for security clearance by their national security administration Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
