The Position This position is based at DLR in Oberpfaffenhofen. It is fulltime and permanent and expected starting date will be around June 2021. We are looking forward to meeting you! ResponsibilitiesDuties The responsibilities include but not limited to Support to AIV campaigns for the Galileo Ground Control Segment Definition of test documentation including maintenance of the documentation Support to the preparation and execution of the NonRegression System Validation Test Campaigns AR Investigation and support for ARBs and NRBs, including troubleshooting Follow upsupport of reviews, milestones and project meetings Generation of reports as required Support the design of endtoend integrated maintenance and troubleshooting environments for Galileo systems Provision of inputs to the release strategy for minor and major evolutions of the GCS infrastructure QualificationsExperience Masters degree in engineering or equivalent At least four years of experience in Galileo Operations or Engineering Expert level understanding of Galileo Ground systems testing and validation Experience in Linux environments Experience in VMware vSphere virtual machines Knowledge of scripting languages e.g. Bash, Python Familiar with networks and their protocols Knowledge of Databases OracleMySql An advanced level of English is mandatory Further DetailsRequirements Due to the project requirements, only candidates with nationality of any Member State of the European Union or Norway need apply.
