Telespazio VEGA Deutschland has been supporting the European Space Industry for over 30 years, including ESA, DLR, EUMETSAT and CNES. This is an exciting opportunity for an IVQ Engineer to work in Galileo Project. The Engineer supports our customer based near Stuttgart for Integration and Validation Qualification of Galileo Mission System GMS. The position will start as soon as possible but not later than 15th of April 2016. The submission deadline for interested candidates is 31st of March 2016. RESPONSIBILITIESDUTIES Preparation Processing chain validation test procedures Analysis of requirements using DOORS database Review of GMS of GALILEO element design definitions Analysis of the configuration files of GMS elements Participation to anomaly resolution meetings, developing, executing and evaluating resolution test plans QUALIFICATIONSEXPERIENCE Engineering degree in aerospace, software engineering or any other related stream Experience in writing and execution of test plan for ground segment software systems Knowledge of DOORS Ability to comprehend and write technical documents Be fluent in English, both in speaking and writing ESSENTIAL SKILLS Ability to think in an analytical way Collaborative and team worker Good communication skills Solution oriented Good IT Skills Security clearance upto 1 is required to be processed by the company DESIRABLE SKILLS Computer Programming skills BENEFITS Competitive salary plus a comprehensive benefits package including 30 days holiday, generous training possibilities and Telespazio VEGA Deutschland pension scheme is offered to the successful candidate.
