We are looking for you as Galileo Satellite Ground System Engineer mf Are you looking for a new and interesting activity in an outstanding project in the area of the planning and implementation of the network system for a satellite control centre? This could be your field of responsibility Member of the Galileo Integrated System Operations Team Interface between ESA mission management, ground segment and operations engineering Coordination with external entities to support design and development of ground facilities and services, and conduct the operational interface to external facilities. Communication with ESA for clarification of operational needs. Preparation of engineering documentation for satellite ground systems Anomaly reporting, tracking and coordination across multiple sites Handling of ground system operational issues and inputs to operations engineering Configuration change tracking and coordination Preparation of engineering change requests Deployment tracking and coordination Identification and documentation of Ground Segment improvements Your profile requires University degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent At least 8 years work experience Satellite control centre and ground system engineering System engineering of large complex distributed computer systems Good English language skills Readiness to take on responsibility and good team and communication skills Permission to work in the European Union.
