(Telecompaper) Over half of Dutch consumers with smartphones have a gaming application installed on their device (55%). Gaming apps are especially popular among women, and teenagers are also more likely to have gaming apps installed. Nearly three-quarters (72%) of teens have gaming apps on their smartphones, compared to less than half (44%) of the elderly in the Netherlands. However, Wordfeud, Farm Heroes Saga and Bubble Witch 2 are exceptions and are on the smartphones of more elderly people than teenagers, according to the latest Dutch Apps Market report from Telecompaper.
