Geely-owned Volvo car sales top half a million in record 2015

Jan 8 Geely-owned carmaker Volvo Car Group said on Friday it sold a record 503,127 cars last year, up 8 percent from 2014, boosted by demand for its new flagship XC90 SUV model and strong growth in the United States and Europe. It was the first year in which Volvo, bought by China's Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co.
