HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, KENTUCKY – General Cable (NYSE: BGC) announced today that the Republic of Korea has selected its 60-year service life nuclear cables.  In a new multi-year contract, General Cable will manufacture and supply ULTROL® 60+ Class 1E nuclear qualified cable to Korea Hydro Nuclear Power (KHNP), a subsidiary of the Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO).
