General Mills will cut another 700 to 800 jobs

General Mills Inc. said Tuesday that it will cut 700 to 800 jobs, primarily from its U.S. workforce, in its latest move to hold down costs in the face of disappointing sales. The layoffs will occur before the end of the Golden Valley, Minn.-based company's 2015 fiscal year next May, according to an SEC filing .
