Gibberish! What did you expect?

My late colleague Jack Teahen once wrote that the auto industry isn't alone in having its own jargon -- "words or phrases that are gibberish to the average Jane or Joe but make perfect sense to those 'in the business.' " Jack felt it was his duty to point them out.
