Compliant with IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613 standards for power substation and railway markets, IGS-P9000 Series provides fiber-optic connections via SC connectors or SFP transceivers. Provisioning of 8–16 Gigabit copper ports, depending on switches installed, makes fast transmission of large volumes of traffic possible. Series supports variety of redundancy technologies to enable fast fault recovery. Besides standard MSTP, STP, and RSTP protocols, switches support self-healing technology.
