Quadrangle Online: Globally, 10 months in 2015 tied or broke monthly temperature records, culminating in a December that was more than half a degree Fahrenheit warmer than its predecessor in 2014 - a record margin, NOAA says.
NOAA reported last year's average temperature for the Earth as a whole was 58.62 degrees Fahrenheit - that's 0.29 degrees higher than the previous year. Both NASA and NOAA separately analyzed the global temperature data and came to this same conclusion.
