Goodyear tires could power electric cars

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has unveiled a concept product, called BHO3, that "offers the possibility of charging the batteries of electric cars by transforming the heat generated by the rolling tire into electrical energy." The technology aims to address an obstacle faced by electric car companies like Tesla: the limited range of their vehicles before needing a recharge.
