Gorman student receives $20K Coke scholarship

Bishop T.K. Gorman High School senior Grace Knight, center, shares a laugh with her mother Lori Knight, left, and family friend Allen Morris before a ceremony announcing Grace as a 2016 Coca-Cola Scholar on Tuesday at the school. Ms. Knight is one of 150 scholarship recipients nation-wide this year - the only one in East Texas - selected from a pool of more than 87,000 applicants for "superior leadership and dedication to her community," according to a press release from the school.
