Mat Riley admitted he was out of his depth in The Great British Bake Off as he became the seventh contestant to leave the tent. The 37-year-old fireman is now busy preparing to become a father for the first time, and has vowed never to attempt to make a Charlotte Russe - a dessert made from cream and jelly encased in sponge fingers - again, after it proved his downfall on the BBC show.
