Green waste subject of local fire concern

Concern over fire danger regarding the size of the green waste pile at the Idyllwild Transfer Station prompted Mike Esnard, president of the Mountain Communities Fires Safe Council Board of Directors, to contact Waste Management Inc., the company the county contracts to manage the station.
