Position Reference 856 In order to integrate the Ground Segment Operations Centre part of the Space Systems department of this wellknown organization, we are currently looking for a Ground Segment AIV Engineer to work at our clients premises in the city of Rome, Italy. This Assembly Integration Verification expert will have the opportunity to share hisher experience in the field of Ground Segment AIT and AIV preparation, execution, and coordination activities. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Coordinate the GS AIV team during GS AIV preparation and execution. Support the ILSOPS Manager during the validation and commissioning and commissioning phases to address and solve GS issues. Ensure the complete verification of GS requirements in accordance with ECSS EST1002 standard through the Verification Control document at all levels GS, SS. Supervise the GS platform deployment either on premises or on cloud. Guarantee production and maintenance of test cases ion and procedures. Guarantee timely addressing and resolution of HWSW problems. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory University degree in a relevant discipline. At least 3 years of experience in AIV activities for satellite missions ideally LEO or MEO. Experience in the requirement management with of DOORS or other similar tool. Experience with automation of test execution with dedicated tools or scripting languages. Sound knowledge of major operating systems Linux, Windows. Sound knowledge of major RDBMS. Sound knowledge of hypervisor and container technology. Experience with coordinating a team, heshe shall have good interpersonal, reporting and communication skills and a proactive attitude to problem solving. Experience with coordinating partners from different companies in an international project. Sound knowledge of ground system engineering processes, and ground system and software life cycles. Proven experience applying relevant ECSS standards Experience with coordinating partners from different companies in an international project. Resultoriented attitude. Planning and organizational skills. Capability to build trust and show inspiring leadership based on strong indirect management skills. Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
