RHEA is currently recruiting a Ground Segment Network Engineer to support the ERASMUS Support Facility ESF at our clients premises in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include To improve the maintenance and troubleshooting of ESF capabilities, in relation with relevant external procurements organizations. Plan, coordinate and validate the necessary ground implementations between ground users and the onboard LAN. Coordinate security implementations, audits and risk assessments in relation with the Security Control Board. Produce and update at regular intervals an ESF CIDL. Produce an evolution plan and relevant ECRs to adapt and ensure continuity and availability of the ESF. Be responsible for definition IP addressing schemes and IP stack configuration definitions for users of Class3 PLs ground and board. Produce validations plans and validation reports for the Class3 PL users ground implementations. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory Background in ground segment engineering and AIV IT security knowledge, in particular with vulnerability and incident assessments Practical experience in IP networking, if possible with a CISCO certification. Fluency in English, both in speech and writing. Ability to work in a multicultural team but also independently and in a proactive manner.
