Position Reference 568 As a Ground Segment System Engineer, you will contribute to maintaining the overall system design documentation of the existing and future systems and multimission elements MMEs. When evolutions of these systems are proposed and implemented, you will analyse them and verify the system and interfaces coherence. RHEA Group is currently looking for three Engineers with different level of Seniority Junior, Senior and Principal. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include As a support for the maintenance and evolution activities of the operational programmes MSG, EPS, JASON, your tasks will be as follows Contribute to the System Requirements Definition process andor maintaining existing requirements baselines Contribute to the maintenance, for all the operational ground systems, of a complete and consistent set of System Technical Documentation and the baseline Contribute to the creation of System Engineering models of Ground Systems using an MBSE approach andor maintaining existing model baselines Perform technical analysis of system architecture and specification evolutions or major upgrades of the operational ground systems, for interfaces coherence and compatibility check with other ongoing developments Contribute to the IVV testing approach for major evolutions of the operational ground systems and contribute to the coordination of the installation, integration and verification of new systems into the operational infrastructure Contribute to the various OPS TSS Projects and associated reviews, as required, providing System Engineering support during the design phase and contribute actively to the definition of the IVV activities Contribute to the assessment of Engineering Tasks providing System Engineering expertise to CRBs and ARBs Contribute to the impact analysis of ICT evolutions in operational systems. Contribute to the analysis, investigations and resolution of system and ground segment level anomalies Provide expert inputs to the SEP System Engineers on all related activities as requested Contribution to the OPS regular coordination processes as requested. As for the development of the new programmes MTG, EPSSG, your responsibilities will be as following Participate to the description of the system architecture and interfaces between external systems and the mission specific elements of the ground system Ensure that the definition and documentation of new interfaces are compatible with the methodology used in Operations Provide support to the definition of the IVV approach for the future ground systems. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory As a Junior Engineer, you have a BS from an accredited university or equivalent 2 to 4 years of experience. As a Senior Engineer, you have BS from an accredited university or equivalent 5 to 7 years of experience. As a Principal Engineer, you have a BS from an accredited university or equivalent 8 to 10 years of experience. You have experience in the analysis of systems applications and modelling. You have experience in the field of Systems Engineering and architectural design for ground segment systems. You have the capability to prepare and manage ICD. You have experience in the use of modelling and design languages for System Engineering e.g. SysML and tools in support of architectural design activities e.g. Vitech CORE, Enterprise Architect. You have a good knowledge of space and ground system engineering processes, and system and software lifecycles and standards. You have experience in Model Based Systems Engineering MBSE methods, techniques and tools. Definition, management and traceability of requirements structure with the support of dedicated tools e.g. DOORS. You have experience in Integration, Verification and Validation IVV of complex systems. You have knowledge and experience in Satellite monitoring, control systems including Flight Dynamics and SC Simulator aspects and Data processing. You have knowledge and experience a minimum of four of the following areas Dissemination Archive systems Ground Stations Computer systems Network systems IT Security The following skills would be highly desirable You have experience with the full development cycle of large systems, from the definition of requirements to system design and testing How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
