We are looking for a Ground Segment System Interface Engineer to work as part of the Infrastructure Engineering and Maintenance team at one of our clients in Germany. Job Description The individual will provide interface engineering support during the ground system design phase, contribute to the definition of IVV activities and provide support to the Ground System Interfaces Engineer. The role will also include working with the system and interface engineers for future ground segment to ensure that new interfaces are compatible with Operations requirements. The role will involve analysis to verify system and interface coherence, system architecture and interface evolutions, and to address system level anomalies. He or she will define the interface testing approach and support the coordination of installation, integration and verification of new systems into an operational infrastructure, such as for new GEO and LEO systems. There will an element of documentation preparation and maintenance such as Statements of Work, ICDs and System Design definitions. Required Experience The candidate will require a University degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline, and at least three years experience in Development and maintenance of complex operational ground systems preferably for remote sensing spacecraft, system IVV and interfaces engineeringAIT experience for Ground System upgrades interfaces requirements definition engineering and test. The candidate will also need proven knowledge and experience of at least 2 Satellite monitoring. control systems. Data processing. Dissemination. Archive systems. Ground Stations.
