RHEA is currently recruiting a Ground Segment and Interface Engineer to support the Infrastructure Engineering Maintenance Team at our clients premises in Darmstadt, Germany. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Covering the system and interfaces engineering activities in support to the routine operations of the MTP, MSG, EPS and Jason2 operational programmes. Maintain the overall system design documentation of the operational systems. Maintenance of the uptodate set of Interface Control Documents for all the operational systems. When evolutions of the systems are proposed and implemented, you shall analyse them and verify the system and interfaces coherence. Perform analysis, investigations and resolution of system level anomalies. For GEO and LEO programmes, participate to the definition of the system architecture and interfaces between the multimission elements and the programme specific elements of the ground system Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory At least a university education in the relevant field of study. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Development and maintenance of complex operational ground systems, preferably for remote sensing spacecrafts with large reuse of existing generic infrastructure and functional elements System, IVV and Interfaces Engineering AIT experience for the development of major upgrades new ground systems in a 247 operational environment Interfaces requirements definition, engineering and test, including the generation and maintenance of Interface Control Documents, with support of tools Proven knowledge and experience in eitheror Satellite monitoring and control systems, Data processing, Dissemination, Archive systems, Ground Stations The following skills would be highly desirable Full development cycle of large systems, from the definition of requirements to system design and testing Knowledge of Network system engineering would be considered as an advantage. System requirements management and functionalarchitectural modelling, with support of tools System architectural design experience in the use of modelling and design tools in support of it will be considered an advantage e.g. Enterprise Architect Definition, management and traceability of complex requirements structure experience in the use of tools in support of it will be considered an advantage e.g. DOORS Configuration Control processes and tools.
