In the EUMETSAT matrix organisation, the Generic Systems and Infrastructure Division GSI is responsible for engineering, maintaining and upgrading all multimission ground segment functions, services, infrastructure and tools used across operational satellite systems and the development of new satellite systems, including contribution to the operational management of the crossorganisational Information Security Management System. As a member of the Security Team of the Generic Systems and Infrastructure GSI division, the Ground Systems Security Engineer will supervise, coordinate and assess the implementation of IT security for all operational and corporate IT systems, and support security aspects of the development of new ground systems. What youll be doing Supervise, coordinate and verify the implementation of the Information Security Management System ISMS at operational level, including infrastructure, network, storage, computers and software, for all IT security aspects, across different EUMETSAT divisions Organise, execute, evaluate and followup security audits Identify, report and followup on relevant security vulnerabilities Provide expertise on security requirements, architecture definition and implementation, to the development andor procurement of new systems and security solutions Maintain appropriate contacts with special interest groups relating to security, andor other specialist security forums Provide security training and contribute to security awareness initiatives at organisational level. CISSP or a similar certification are an advantage.
