We are currently looking for a Group Leader Mechanical AIT MGSE to support our customer in Munich, Germany. Group Leader Mechanical AIT MGSE Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European leading system house, specialized in development and implementation of high technology solutions for aerospace, science and industry. You will have the following responsibilities Definition and implementation of the mechanical integration flow in space projects under consideration of the functional requirements and the allocated cost budgets Building up and procurring the equipment required for mechanical integration and test activities Lead of the team members of a group which is currently being built up Support the project and the system engineering team in all project phases in view of the mechanical AIT aspects like establishing integration flows and test definition of the system Definition and procurement of the MGSE in line with the technical boundaries and the budget allocation Establishing of requirements specification for subcontracting the MGSE Responsibility for establishing the processes for conducting standard AIT processes documentation, reviews, planning Harmonization of respective activities with all involved disciplines like Electronics, Optical department or Manufacturing Preparation and execution of Standard AIT review like TRR, PTR and TRB as well as participation at project reviews Support the reporting to the customer and within the international project environment. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in Engineering, Physics or equivalent Practical experience in a responsible position within a space project, in particular in Phase CD Knowledge about the particularities of mechanical integration processes in the space industry Deep experience with the planning and the execution of mechanical test at instrument and or satellite level Excellent communication skills, ability to work in and leading of teams Fluency in English.
