Groups Intervene in COOL Lawsuit

Scott Shearer, Bockorny Group, Washington, DC The U.S. Cattlemen's Association (USCA), National Farmers Union (NFU), American Sheep Industry (ASI), and Consumer Federation of America (CFA) jointly filed a motion to intervene in the country-of-origin labeling (COOL) lawsuit. If granted intervenor status by the court, USCA, NFU, ASI and CFA will be presenting arguments in defense of the USDAs Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) regulations on COOL. read more
