Part of X20 Series, HART Input and Output Modules use real-time Ethernet POWERLINK to transfer HART data supplied by sensors and actuators directly to controller. To evaluate data, controller forwards information via process bus to maintenance stations with FDT containers. HART devices are configured with TCP/IP communication DTM, which scans network and detects hardware tree. DTM server on controller provides read/write access to all information regarding HART field devices for asset monitoring.
