The new helium-filled HGST He10 is ready to ship, but don't expect to drop one of these 10TB beauties in a home PC anytime soon. The new technology that let HGST hit such capacities has drawbacks that make it ill-suited for home users. Will Western Digital solve the problems before Seagate drops the HAMR later next year?
