HP confirms split, more shake-ups may be coming

Hewlett-Packard's confirmation Monday that it's breaking in two may be only the beginning of the turbulent changes coming for the storied Silicon Valley corporation and its estimated 300,000 employees. One or both of its separated businesses may merge with other companies, HP executives said.
