HST '15 to feature hands-free radioactivity detection unit.

Attendees at the 2015 IEEE International Symposium on Technologies for Homeland Security will have the opportunity to see a new hands-free portable radioactivity detection unit that is carried in 22-lb backpack and doesn't depend on wand. Scheduled for April 14–16, 2015, event will bring together leading researchers and innovators working on technologies designed to deter and prevent homeland attacks, protect critical infrastructures and people, mitigate damage, and expedite recovery.
